Jacket
A versatile jacket can come in use for any type of traveler. Something like this waterproof jacket is perfect for someone who likes the great outdoors or even a sightseer in big cities, is always a great item to have on your while traveling long term. You never know what turn the weather will take, and when on vacation I don’t like for a little rain to slow us down. For the more casual traveler one such as this lightweight softshell that could be dressed down or dressed up is also great it have. While browsing I stumbled upon this Lightweight Military Jacket that looks great for packing and versatile travel.
Scratch Off Map (Giveaway!)
One of my favorite ways to decorate our house is to add items and pictures from our various travels. Most of the times I do not pick up many souvenirs but I will buy something if I know of a perfect place for it to fit in our home. Scratch off maps are so much fun! We both love coming home from a trip to scratch off the next state or country off the map. We have the Scratch The World, I like it because is does separate states within the USA as well the all the countries in the world. But for someone trying to see all 50 States the Scratch Off Map USA version would be wonderful!

Headphones
It seems like almost every other time I leave for a trip I am missing a pair of headphones, or a set is broken. Having an extra set is a must in our household. Between the two of us a pair is missing or broken. Headphones something you have to have for those long plane and train rides. I like this ErgoFit Headphones pair as they have great reviews, affordable and has interchange ear pieces for the gift receiver to pick which fit is most comfortable to them.
Away
If looking for a splurge gift Away luggage is making its way into homes around the world. Their luggage looks sophisticated but is super affordable, and durable! I love that you can customize your luggage to make it unique and your own. You can even customize it and pick colors that will be easy to pick out in the usual sea of black luggage at the pick up carousel.
Compression Packing Cubes
In may of my packing guides I have mentioned my profound love for packing cubes. They make life so much more easier and organized while on the road. Now they even have compression packing cubes! I think I may need to get my hands on these. Organized, a quicker re-packing method AND saves space! Sold!
Airport Code Pillow
We don’t have a so called “Man Cave” but if we did I feel like this Airport Code Pillow would be a great decor item to add. They even have posters and other home items. Its so simple but also gives that person a small fun reminder of their past travels. I think it helps us easily come up with memories from our travels that we cherish in certain countries everyday.
Atlas Coffee Club
My husband and I love travelling to other countries and getting a taste of their coffee. How does coffee, and baked goods, taste so much better in other countries?? Atlas Coffee Club lets you try coffees from around the world! They offer one time purchases and also a monthly subscription, which is pretty cheap for the quality! You can pick your choices of coffee to be delivered by roast type and grind type.
Duffel Bags
For the weekend traveler a duffel bag is a perfect option for a gift. I always love a good backpack or bag, I could find a use for any type of bag. These weekender duffel bags are not only stylish but very functional as well for short on the go travelers. I also talked about how I use duffel bags on long term travel on this gift guide post.
Hammock
A small travel hammock is great for the adventurous one. We have used our hammoks from anywhere from visiting the Washington National Parks in a campervan or even just in our own backyard. One that can be easily packed is best. Check out this travel hammock.
Battery Pack
I recommended this in last year’s Christmas Gift Ideas but I will probably always add this to the list of ideas to purchase for others. A battery pack or two is always an important travel item, especially for one that loves to use their phone to take pictures, has a GoPro or other nifty electronics on them. Airport travel is also a great place to have one as it is usually hard to find outlets that are not already in use.
Power Adapters
If your gift receiver travels outside of the country often I would suggest getting a power adapter or a few! If you know where they will be doing most of their travels you can get country specific ones such as a bulk affordable pack we got for Europe. But if you don’t know where they are going next, or know they travel to multiple countries this power adapter is convenient as it is good for up to 150 different countries.
Turkish Towel
I don’t know how many times I have mentioned these Turkish Towels in my blog posts. But they are always my go to gift for fellow travelers. I couldn’t count how many times these towels have been useful during our trips. I have used them for any from a beach towel, picnic blanket, towel for campground or AirBnB showers, a scarf, a blanket on the plane and soooo much more! They are quick dry and easy to throw in the wash. And best of all they are lightweight and thin to make them very pack-able!
Portable Travel Safe
Sometimes its hard not to travel without any valuables on you. Leaving items at a rented home or hotel can sometimes be risky. If anyone that may always travel with valuables, jewelry, electronics or more this Pacsafe Portable Safe is a good item to have, it also comes in multiple sizes by liter.
Ticket To Ride Game
Does your traveler have everything they need for travel but looking for something for them to use at home. A board game lover that travels may love this travel inspired game caller Ticket To Ride. This game comes with glowing reviews and a huge following. If looking for a smaller travel game I love these Architectural Wonders of The World Playing Cards, they are beautifully designed by one of my favorite Cincinnati Artists, Billiter Studios.
