A Simple 3 Step Skincare Routine for Travel
Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite products while on the go. I try my best to have a skincare routine, but I will be the first to admit that in our busy lives its easy to let it go by the wayside. I find while traveling the better I take care of my skin the easier it is to get ready in the morning as I don’t need as much makeup to make myself feel refreshed and ready for the day.
Step 1:
Finding a great eye make up remover is hard. I always found ones that either tore my eyelashes or left my skin feeling greasy. I was gifted Beauty Garde Lash & Brow Shampoo and instantly fell in love. You can use on both your eye browns and eye lashes. The soft brush is easy on your lashes and brows. My first try using this I knew it was coming on my next trip to make a fast and easy eye makeup removal. This packs easily and there is no need for cotton balls or pads for this product, which saves the ever so important space in your luggage.
Step 2:
Next I clean off the eye make up remover, the rest of my face and neck with a face wipe. I have always had a love for Burt’s Bees products. You will always see me traveling with their Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towels. These are great to have no matter what type of trip, camping, hostels and hotels, you have always have a way to get your face squeaky clean no matter your situation. At this price you cannot go wrong.
Step 3:
Next, lotion up with Eau Thermale Avène Hydrance Rich Hydrating Cream. This is my all time favorite face cream, it is the most hydrating cream I have found yet and doesn’t make my face feel greasy. It is perfect for winter destinations were my skin is chapped from the cold and wind and helps as a deep moisturizer when I have had to much sun while on the beach or hiking. Its my go to face cream! My face always seems the most moisturized and bright when using this product. And I swear I don’t wear foundation as often when using this stuff! It’s cheaper on Amazon then in Ulta!
In the morning:
I use face lotion for both day and night to help my skin feel hydrated. But there is no SPF so if heading out in the morning I use a 30 SPF sunscreen such as Hawaiian Tropic Antioxidant Sunscreen Lotion to protect on our daily adventures. Bonus! This one is loaded with antioxidants to help protect from the sun and aging as well!
What are your favorite skincare products when at home or traveling? I am always looking for and trying new affordable skincare products!
