Iceland’s Most Beautiful Waterfalls- Iceland is most famous for their incredible waterfalls and every changing landscapes. They have a good reason to be! Iceland’s waterfalls are absolutely beautiful and like nothing you have probably seen before. Some of Iceland’s waterfalls are very well known, even being featured in popular films. But there are plenty of one’s off the beaten path or not well known.
We spent 9 days in June in Iceland, check out my Complete 9 Day Iceland Itinerary for our entire schedule. My two favorite waterfalls in Iceland was the Burarfoss Waterfall and the Glymur Waterfall. My favorite area in Iceland was Thakgil!

The best way to get to most of these waterfalls would be by car, a rental car or do what we did in the summer months and get a campervan with GoCampers Iceland. Some of these waterfalls can be seen with tours in Iceland, but you are usually limited and with the crowds.
If not interested in a campervan, renting a car in the summer months is another great way to see the country. That way to can move around faster and not be contained to one area. There are lots a great places on AirBnb ( use this link for $55 off your first use). Or we also have been loving booking.com to find unique places to stay.
