The Best AirBnBs And Rentals In The North Cascades National Park- You might be thinking where should I stay if visiting the North Cascades National Park?  Here I have listed the top AirBnB rentals near the North Cascades National Park in Washington State, both in Mazama and Winthrop.  These rentals are the best cozy cabins that you can find for winter or summer!  These would be perfect for a small wedding, anniversary, elopement or even a honeymoon cabin stay. Some of these rentals are nestled in the woods and forest to give you that complete off the grid feel.  Many feature a romantic hot tub, fire ring or fire place, cabin like decor and more.  These are the coolest places to rent by North Cascades National Park, so hurry to book them as they go quick!

Where To Stay By The Park

There are two areas to stay in that will put you closest to the North Cascades National Park, Mazama and Winthrop.  Both are located about 30 minutes from the outskirts of the park, and an hour from the heart of the park (Diablo Lake).  I will break out the AirBnBs in two sections by town. But first the difference between the towns:

Winthrop

Winthrop is an adorable western town, every shop and restaurant in the town is in old western town style.  It is a small town but has a few different options for restaurants, a grocery store, coffee shops, ice cream shops and even a brewery!  If you plan on going out to eat a few times and possibly wandering town go with Winthrop! This is where we stayed.

Mazama

Mazama is an even smaller town than Winthrop. This town will put you closer to the national park then Winthrop. In Mazama there is a small store and a few restaurants, definitely less than Winthrop.  There are more private cabins in this area.  So if looking to bunker down, relax or have a romantic or secluded place to stay I would pick this area.

Winthrop

Little Bear Cabin

A charming and very popular cabin (a legal, licensed nightly rental with a current Okanogan County health permit as required by law) is located in a quiet cul-de-sac w/mountain views in all directions. A short walk to the Winthrop Ice Rink and Town Trailhead, easy stroll to old west Winthrop boardwalk shops & eateries across charming pedestrian suspension bridge.

Spring Creek Ranch Cabin

The Ranch Cabin is private, sitting at the edge of a 20 acre hay field which turns into the Town Trailhead for winter skiing. In the warmer months, you can walk into town in 10 minutes. If staying during the winter you can ski out your door and access 120 miles of groomed ski trails.

River’s Edge Resort

River’s Edge Resort is located in downtown Winthrop, Washington. The accommodations here provide guests with a private deck with a hot tub. Guests staying in the chalets can enjoy a full-sized kitchen, while the cottages feature a kitchenette.

Each cottage and chalet comes with a dining area, a seating area with a sofa, a fireplace, and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Air conditioning and a private bathroom with free toiletries are included.

River Run Inn

Located less than a 15-minute walk from the historic center of Winthrop, the River Run Inn features a western frontier theme with an indoor swimming pool and hot tub. A number of outdoor activities can be enjoyed here, including scenic river tours, water tubing, and volleyball.

The rooms here all have a river view, and include hand-made log furniture. Additionally, a TV with a DVD player, a sitting area with a sofa, a microwave, refrigerator, and a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower are also included in the rooms.

Duck Brand Hotel & Cuisine

Duck Brand Hotel & Cuisine offers free WiFi and rooms with air conditioning in Winthrop. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. There is a restaurant serving American cuisine, and free private parking is available.

Skytop: Breathtaking views and easy walk into town

Whatever the season, Skytop is the ideal base for your Methow Valley adventures. This rustically modern, wheelchair-friendly cottage feels remote, yet downtown Winthrop is a mere quarter-mile away. The new second-story Treehouse Suite (which rents for an additional $100 a night paid directly to the owner) features a gas fireplace and freestanding tub, allowing a second couple or generation to enjoy their privacy while sharing Skytop’s kitchen, dining and entertainment space. (Sorry, no pets.)

Sun Mountain Lodge

This resort has a private beach area on Patterson Lake and ski-to-door access and ski equipment hire and bike hire are available. You can play tennis and table tennis at this resort, and the area is popular for skiing and horse riding. Loup Loup Ski Bowl is within 45 minutes’ drive of the property, while Methow Trails cross-country ski area is less than 20 minutes’ drive away.

AbbyCreek Inn

Located on the Methow River, this hotel offers free WiFi, a seasonal outdoor pool and free daily breakfast. Shopping and dining in Winthrop is 0.9 mi away.

A satellite TV is included in each air-conditioned guest room at AbbyCreek Inn. An private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries is also provided.

It has a open kitchen, Granite slab counter tops, bar with local Methow Valley barn wood used as accents throughout.

Newer modern cabin minutes to Mazama and 10 min drive to Winthrop.

You will be surrounded by hundreds of miles of XC trails, biking, hiking trails, beautiful lakes and rivers.

Our cabin was build in 2018 with traditional cabin feel done in a modern way. This rental features gourmet kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large open common area, dining room. It is also equipped with a bar, open loft with TV, and foosball table. 

Gorgeous Cabin Near Mazama

Hillside Hideaway is tucked away in a peaceful wooded community and borders the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. This charming and cozy cabin was built in 2018. The cabin is ready to host you and your family/friends in the beautiful Methow Valley!

Alpine Woods Cabin

New for 2019-20 ski season a new trail within Liberty Woodlands which makes the cabin a ski-in-ski out property to the Methow Valley Trail System! The property features a long driveway set back in the woods for a private feel. 2 bdrm, 2 full bath cabin features an open floor plan with high ceilings and home entertainment system. Plowed flat roads make for easy access in winter. Close to the Methow Valley Trails and Methow River, 3.5 miles from the Mazama store and 11 miles to downtown Winthrop.
