Travel Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Christmas- Stocking Stuffers are my favorite things to look for, but I will admit it can be tough to think of small items that can fit in those Christmas Stockings. This list will be full of small gadgets, electronics, accessories and more to buy for your travel loving friend in your life in which will fit perfectly in their stocking.
Extra Power Cords
When talking about travel, or life in general extra phone charging cords will always come in handy. But travel in particular a power cord in your backpack and suitcase will always keep you prepared. I love storing mine in these handy organizer, this case to hold multiple cords and this just for one or a few.
Digital Burrito Pouch
Mentioned before I love cord organizer cases! They keep me super organizer while travel, helps keeps my cords from getting tangled and gives me one spot to store all my electronic cords. I use bigger ones, such as this organizer zipper pouch for longer travel when I have my camera, GoPro and cell phone charging cords and devices. This double sided zipper pouch has two sides to hold even more if you need it! But this JanSport Digital Burrito Pouch is perfect for when just use a few.
USB Wall Charger
I don’t know about you but often when we travel we end up stuck in a room or airport with limited outlets. Something like this multi- USB port charger will help put an end to those situations, where a few may be fighting over an outlet or USB port. They also come in handy when you have a few things to charge at once or overnight.
Vago Vacuum
My first thought when I saw this product is why would you need to clean while travelling. But this VAGO Portable Vacuum Compressor helps save that ever so precious space in your suitcase while travelling. This vacuum with help compress bags so you can have more space on your suitcase. Perfect for the long term traveler or someone who is travelling to destinations that may change in temperatures. Here is a similar vacuum and bags that are a little more affordable.
Carry On Cocktail
As a fun item these Carry on Cocktail Kit make a great stocking stuffers. They have a variety of options and perfect for the nervous flyer or someone going to a tropical fun destination. I personally would love to try the Moscow Mule Carry on Cocktail Kit .
Card Credit Utility Wallet Ninja
One of our favorite things to do in new areas is trying the local drinks, wine or beer. We have found ourselves once in awhile with some locals brews to enjoy on a rooftop or porch but no way to open it. And you never know what might me in stock at the hotel or house rental. So something like this credit card utility tool will do the trick. They don’t take up much room and they are useful for other situations as well depending on which features you choose.
Travel Door Alarm
One scare that has some people nervous about travelling to new and different areas is safety, especially for solo travelers. Safety is a huge concern to many when renting homes and apartments. I hear of more and more travelers bringing their own safety devices. This Travel Door Alarm is something that packs up easily and might let you sleep a little more at ease in an unknown rental. This model is stuck inside the door, if the door becomes open it will trigger it’s alarm. It also doubles as a flashlight as well.
Clothes Line
For the hiker, camper or overseas traveler sometimes washing clothes can put one in a bind. Much of Europe does not have dryers. So we are often stuck finding areas to dry our clothes in a short time. This Pegless Clothes Line lets travelers dry wet clothes anywhere. This would of came in handy while using a campervan in Washington to change some of our wet clothes when we got rained on.
Carabiners
They don’t need to be climbing grade but a simple utility carabiner is always handy to have. I have used these from clipping a waterbottle to my backpack, clipping a muddy pair for shoes to my luggage to dry out, or to secure my backpack cover and so much more.
Cord Organizers
I have mentioned travel cord organizers many times in packing and gift ideas lists. Sometimes I do travel with a lot of electrics, and when that happens a cord organizer bag is what I need. But for weekend travels with only a few charging cords to keep organized those become more than I need. But I do still want to keep my cords organized and from tangling. I have been eye these affordable leather cord straps to see if they will do the trick.
Travel Theme Playing Card Deck
One item we never leave the house without is a deck of cards. It gives us easy entertainment at airports, train stations and late nights where we just want to relax with a drink on a porch or by a camp fire. We used this as entertainment at night while camping in our campervan in Washington. Buy a travel themed deck of cards to make it more fun! Like this Bicycle Architectural Wonders of The World Playing Cards designed but one of my favorite Cincinnati artists, Billiter Studio. This artist makes the most beautiful screen prints and block prints of Cincinnati Architecture and now had his own Around the World deck of cards featuring famous buildings from all over the world.
