What to Pack in a Toiletries Bag for Any Type of Travel- Today I will show you what I pack in my travel bag. I try to keep my items to a minimum and these small objects can end up taking up a lot of room in a bag or suitcase. When traveling you may have to also think about how you are traveling and certain guidelines. Take a look at some of my favorite items for when on the go.
Bags
I try to stick to keep my toiletries in 2-3 small bags. By doing this it makes it easier to find space for a few small bags in you suitcase, some empty nooks and crannies in your suitcase. Rather than finding a space for one large bag go for a few smaller bags.
This also lets you have a chance to organize products by time of use.
Stay Organized
Organize your toiletries bags by use. This will help you know where everything is. It will save you time when getting ready in the morning or needing to crash at night. Also when you go to pack for your trip you can grab which bags you know you will need, depending on what type of trip you are going on.
Here are the three types of bags I usually have in my suitcase:
- Morning/Night Routine Bag
- Shower Bag
- Makeup Bag
What Do I Pack In Them ?
Morning/Night Routine
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Floss
- Mouthwash
- Deodorant
- Derma-E Advanced Peptides and Collagen Serum
- Derma-E Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Oil
No matter what type of trip I am going on I try to keep up on my morning and nightly routine. I love Derma-E’s Anti-Wrinkle Treatment Oil as it is fragrance-free and leaves you skin smooth and soft. The Advanced Peptides and Collagen Serum is also 100% vegan and hydrates skin to look more youthful.
MakeUp Bag
- Brush On Foundation (don’t have to pack a brush)
- Mascara
- Brow Wand
- Cream Blush (again no brush, blend with you fingers)
- Brush on Eye Shadow
- Derma-E Avanded Peptides and Collagen Eye Cream
- Derma-E Advanced Peptides and Collagen Moisturizer
I always make sure I moisturize before adding makeup, I want to keep up my routine even if I am on the road. Derma-E’s Advanced Peptides and Collagen Eye Cream and Moisturizer is amazing. It rubs in smoothly and leaves your skin feeling refreshed. It doesn’t leave you that feeling of being oily or greasy.
When I am camping and not putting makeup on during a trip I sometimes leave this bag at home. But I do make sure I move my eye cream and moisturizer to my shower bag to keep my skin looking healthy.
Shower Bag
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Razor/Shaving Cream
I like to travel with shampoo, conditioner and soap bars. Many years ago I made the switch to bar shampoo, soap and conditioner and was first not happy with the results of the shampoo and conditioner bars. I recently tried them again and they have improved so much in the last few years! Traveling with bars will help you stay under the liquid restrictions on a carry on bag if you are traveling by plane. It also helps with avoiding the dreaded occasional explosion of liquids in checked baggage. And they are friendly to our environment.
If not using my shower bars, I think the silicone shower containers work the best. Lower risk of bursting in an airplane and reusable so use can add your favorite shampoos.
I never go without my Derma-E products because they are affordable, so I don’t mind travelling with them. From resort travel to camping they are coming with me.
Thank you Derma-E for providing me with only the best! Remember to only bring what you need and stay organized! It will help make your adventure a lot less stressful.
