Women’s Travel Gift Ideas for Christmas- For the girl in your life in which is always on the move it may be hard to buy for them as they are not home much. But worry no more as I have composed a list of great travel related gifts for that lady in your life. These travel gift ideas will be great of any type of traveler, from gadgets, electronics, decor, travel accessories and more.
Travel Jacket
I mentioned a good travel jacket is always good to have in my Men’s Christmas Travel Ideas List. One that might be waterproof or water resistant will be useful for any type of fast paced traveler. But a versatile jacket that can be dressed up or dressed down like this lightweight travel jacket. This is a perfect item to have while travelling or at home. I also have one of these pack-able rain jacket, in which they come with a bag to make packing them in a suitcase a whole lot easier. For the winter travel these puffy coats can pack up small as well, I have one for winter months that I love!
Scratch Off Map (Giveaway!)
One of my favorite ways to decorate our house is to add items and pictures from our various travels. Most of the times I do not pick up many souvenirs but I will buy something if I know of a perfect place for it to fit in our home. This Scratch The World Map is so much fun! We both love coming home from a trip to scratch off the next state of country off the map. We have the Scratch The World, I like it because is does separate states within the USA. But for someone trying to see all 50 States the Scratch Off USA Wall Map version would be wonderful!

Away
If looking for a splurge gift Away luggage is making its way into homes around the world. Their luggage looks sophisticated but is super affordable. And durable! I love that you can customize your luggage to make it unique and your own. And you even get to pick colors that will be easy to pick out if the usual sea of black luggage at the pick up.
Compression Packing Cubes
In may of my packing guides I have mentioned my profound love for packing cubes. They make life so much more easier and organized while on the road. And now they even have compression packing cubes! I think I may need to get my hands on these. Organized, a quicker re-packing method AND saves space! Sold!
Turkish Towels
I never travel without my Turkish Towels now! We have used them not only as a quick dry towel in the hostel or rental but they also can double as a blanket on the plane or extra warmth on a bed, a scarf, a shawl, and even a picnic blanket! They are perfect for the hot springs visits in Iceland, using it for a picnic or when you may not have any towels available in a hostel or like we did in a campervan in Washington. They are quick drying and thin so they are easy to pack!
Waterproof Shower Organizer
I have added this mesh shower bag tote to many of my Packing Lists for Camping. But for areas you might not be using public showers this portable waterproof tote bag is a perfect size for travel. Small but has plenty of compartments to store all the things you might need. I try to pack minimally and this bag is the perfect size.
Compression Socks
I never thought I would be one that would want compression socks, I thought they were for nurses. But as the more I travel the more I want a pair. They help blood flow during long hours or travel in an airplane, so they are not only healthy for you but also help for the long days of walking. I am evening wanting a pair for work as a teacher standing all day.
Passport Wallet
Finding a wallet that can fit a passport but also be slim so it is easy to pack can be hard to find. I like something that can hold both a passport and credit cards such as this samsonite travel wallet. But some people prefer designated passport cases and keep their wallet separate.
Small Compressed Travel Pillow
You probably won’t see me with a travel pillow unless it is one such as the compressible travel pillow. Although travel pillows seem so nice to have on long flight they just take up way too much space when not in use! This travel pillow solves this issue as is compresses down to save space once at your destination. I also posted about this fold-able travel pillow in which had great reviews last year on this gift list post.
Suitcase Bungee
I usually try to carry-on for the cost savings and the easy of not needing to wait on luggage once off the plane. But the worst thing about carry-on is carrying a bag and personal item through the airport. This convenient travel bag bungee strap does the trick to make sure all your luggage stays put together. And when not in use it can easily be stored in one of those awkward back pockets that never gets used anyways.
Jet Bag
When we travel to new areas I always want to bring back, wine, liqueur or beer that we have fell in love with while in that new country or state. But the issue is that you have to check it, and that is when it becomes dangerous, you not only risk it breaking and being wasted but also ruining the clothing and items in your suitcase. The Jet Bags are just want you need to bring those goods home, they fit wine and beer and are affordable! I find this wine bottle protector bag had a little more padding than the Jet Bag. They could also work for bring home, olive oils, vinegar, schnapps and more!
